When we think of Asia the mind conjures up images of the exotic, sensual, mystical and the variety of cultures that inhabit this unique area of our planet.
The Ancient Traditional heritage of these many countries continues today through the local aritsans who still produce handmade arts and crafts using techniques passed down over centuries.
The Lantern maker in the Ancient town of Hoian, the twig and basket weavers in the village of Tegalalang, and the stone craftsmen chipping away with their hammer and chisel, all creating beautiful items with their hands for our pleasure. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that Australians have fallen in love with anything "Asian" especially for use in the area of home decoration. Maybe it is the fact that the majority of handcrafts are made from natures gifts such as wood, stone, bamboo, water hyacinth, and more which give that natural earthy ambience to your home.
On our travels we have made an effort to choose items that we believe will enhance any decor, but more importantly we believe it will give you great pleasure to display them. Every item has it's own story and the majority of these pieces can be viewed at our "Asian Bazaar Parties" but we have a few extra pieces, including furniture, on show here.
Our search began two years ago and we get very excited when we find new and interesting products to include in our range. This means that this site will be constantly changing and hopefully never boring. THE SEARCH CONTINUES....
